Franco Pizzimenti

On Feb. 2, 2002, Franco Pizzimenti, operator of the Commisso Bros. and Racco Italian Bakery near Keele St. and Eglinton Ave. W., was found dead in the business’s parking lot.

The 64-year-old had been shot several times, just after getting into his car that evening.

Two years earlier, Pizzimenti’s business partner Giuseppe (Joseph) Racco was shot to death outside another bakery he ran near Jane St. and Finch Ave. W. Dennis Melvyn Howe Dennis Howe is wanted in connection with the death of 9-year-old Sharin’ Morningsta­r Keenan on Jan. 23, 1983, one of the oldest crimes on the cold-case site.

Police found the young girl dead on Feb. 1, 1983, at Howe’s home on Brunswick Ave., near Bathurst St. and Dupont St. Police believe she was last seen alive at nearby Jean Sibelius Park on Jan. 23, around 4 p.m.

Howe, 42 at the time, disappeare­d but faces charges of first-degree murder.

Police say Howe goes by several aliases, including Michael Burns, Wayne King, Ralph Ferguson or Jim Myers.

Suzette Augustin and Paulson Chellakuda­m

Police found Suzette Augustin, 26, and Paulson Chellakuda­m, 45, in a travel agent office near Wilson Ave. and Jane St. on Feb. 20, 2004. Both had been stabbed multiple times, but were alive.

Augustin died shortly after being taken to hospital. Chellakuda­m died three days later.

Rosaleen Wallace

Rosaleen Wallace is wanted in connection with the death of her 5-yearold son. She is the only woman on the cold case site’s Most Wanted list.

In the early hours of Feb. 17, 1987, police were called to a home near Lake Shore Blvd. and Park Lawn Rd. Inside they found 5-year-old Peter Wallace alive but “suffering from medical trauma.” The boy died in hospital a short time later. An autopsy revealed the child had died of Hirschspru­ng’s disease, and that his mother and father had failed to get him proper medical attention.

Peter’s parents, Archie and Rosaleen Wallace, were charged with manslaught­er. Archie was arrested and spent four years in prison for the crime. Rosaleen, 31 at the time, fled before the charges were laid.

Police say she is also known as Rosemarie Fader or Joanne Demitro.

Dave Sylvester Francis

Dave Francis was found dead just off the Don Valley Parkway near Lawrence Ave. E. the morning of April 1, 1993.

Police believe the 19-year-old had been shot to death three weeks earlier, on March 10, 1993, in the St. Clair Ave. W and Caledonia Rd. area.

A manslaught­er warrant was issued for Norman Needham, 21, who is now on the cold-case site’s Most Wanted list. Vinh Duc Tat Vinh Duc Tat was found on the sidewalk near Dundas St. W. and Kensington Ave. on Feb. 3, 1991, one of four people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Tat, 29, died at the scene. The other three were taken to hospital and survived.
