Words can’t be taken back

-

Re ‘Unpublishing’ in the digital age, March 12 Should the Star take down readers’ letters published on its website? My answer is no. Why would you write a letter to be published in a newspaper, but not online? If you are that secretive, don’t write in the first place.

There is an old adage that “you should watch what you say, because words cannot be taken back.” That is even truer in our digital age. So, if you do not want to be published, don’t write. Sigmund Roseth, Mississauga
