Mariah cancels Brussels concert

-

Mariah Carey cancelled her show in Brussels Sunday due to security concerns, the singer said on Twitter Friday. “I love my fans in Brussels and at this time I am being advised to cancel my show for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour. I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my Lambs,” wrote Carey.

Terror attacks at the Brussels airport and subway station on Tuesday claimed 31 lives. TMZ predicted a cancellation, reporting that Carey’s security team was “strongly against” her keeping the date, citing the terror attack, Carey’s level of fame and her engagement to billionaire James Packer.
