A vacation at long last

I am due to retire in the fall. In the meantime, I find myself compelled to take some unused vacation days. Quite a lot of days, actually. I will therefore be absent from this space until the last week of June.

Why so much time off? It’s a thing — I’ve never ever used all my allotment of days, on the theory that out of sight is out of mind. Silly me. I will be keeping an eye on my email while I am absent. Also silly me.

I will return to this space at the end of June and work until October. We’ll see what happens after that. Joe Fiorito appears Monday. jfiorito@thestar.ca
