Praise for Pope’s efforts

Re Pope’s advice hard to swallow, March 28 This letter was not based on good research. Browsing “Vatican refugees” quickly brought up a Sept. 18, 2015, story, “Vatican welcomes its first family of refugees following Pope’s appeal . . . family was being cared for by St. Anne’s parish inside Vatican City.”

Also there’s the story on how quickly Pope Francis moved out of the papal apartments into much simpler accommodation. And which institution is involved in providing more support for those in need than the Catholic Church? David Hogg, Toronto
