Leading man: Josh Hart, a six-footfive senior guard, is the Wildcats’ top scorer this season, with 15.5 points per game. He went 10-for-12 from the floor against Oklahoma on Saturday.

The lynchpin: Senior forward Daniel Ochefu, says Wildcats coach Jay Wright, “gives us the ability to go inside and get buckets when people are taking away our threes.”

NORTH CAROLINA

The anchor: At six-foot-nine and 228 pounds, Brice Johnson has been the Tar Heels’ anchor in the tournament, averaging 21 points, 9.8 rebounds and almost three blocks.

X factor: Forward Justin Jackson, according to teammate Kennedy Meeks Jr., is the player “teams really don’t worry about, but they know his name at the end of the game.” Chris O’Leary
