THE MEADOWS OF AURORA – EXCEPTIONAL SENIOR LIVING

-

When you combine caring, dignified Christian care with a contemporary “age in place” approach to senior living in a setting that is nothing short of spectacular, the result is an ideal retirement community for Christian seniors. The Meadows of Aurora is a community that stays with you throughout the senior years; from active retirement living to supportive assisted living.

The Meadows is located on Leslie Street, one kilometer north of Wellington Street in Aurora. It sits on a 25-acre parcel of land surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected forest and wetlands and yet is within close proximity to local churches, shopping, cinema, theatre and golf courses. The Southlake Regional Hospital is less than 10 km away.

The Meadows of Aurora consists of suites that are sold under a Life Lease plan. You buy the right to live in your suite for as long as you wish. Suites are outfitted with six appliances including refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave and stacked washer and dryer. All suites have a sitdown shower, balcony and an underground parking spot and come outfitted with cable television and internet. Window coverings and individually controlled thermostats are included.

As one ages, support services can be provided as required. The Meadows has been designed to enhance your quality of life through facilities such as a fitness centre and fireside lounge. Buildings feature glare-free lighting, slip resistant flooring and supportive hand railings in hallways. All areas are wheelchair accessible and provide TV monitored security surveillance in the lobby and parking garage. Suites offer easy-living features such as wider doorways, walk-in shower stalls with molded seats and grab bars. Add-on services will be available on a pay as you go basis and include things like meals, housekeeping, laundry, handyman repairs, homecare and transportation.

When you wish to sell your Life Lease interest back to The Meadows, you receive back your initial purchase price, less a transfer and refurbishing fee, or you may sell your Life Lease interest at market value, and receive 90% of the proceeds, while the Meadows retains 10%.

The Meadows of Aurora is a trendsetting opportunity for seniors built around a compassionate Christian model.
