DIY A PAINTED WALL CLOCK
All you need is a clock kit and some painting supplies to make something that is functional and stylish,

Step 1: Gather Supplies.
You’ll need:
clock surface
3/4” clock-movement kit
Painter’s tape
Paintbrush
Acrylic paint
Scissors
One AA battery
Step 2:
Plan your design. Once you’ve decided on your design, use the scissors to cut strips of painter’s tape and apply to the wood surface to create shapes or sections with clean lines. Smooth out the tape to remove any air bubbles.
Step 3:
Paint. Use a paintbrush to apply paint to the wood surface. We used a pretty copper acrylic paint and then added in pinks, grey and white.
Step 4:
Remove the tape and let dry. Once you have finished painting, carefully remove the tape. Let the paint dry completely (approximately 1 hour) before handling the clock.
Step 5:
Install the clock movement kit. The clock movement kit comes with clock hands, adhesive numbers and the quartz movement mechanism/box. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to install the kit. First insert the quartz movement box, then the adhesive numbers, finally add the clock hands. The quartz movement mechanism/box typically has a hook incorporated into it so that the clock is ready to hang on the wall.
