Not suitable for young eyes

Re Torture exposé rocks Australia, July 27 I am a faithful reader of your paper. I was truly sickened by the photo on the front page of your July 27 paper. It is shocking, and the story is shocking as well. No child or adult should be treated this way.

However, this picture should not have been on the front page. It was inside the front page of the other two papers I read daily, still with the same effect.

I encourage my young grandchildren to read the newspaper daily; they should not be reading or seeing these images. I get that we need to be aware of these injustices, but inside the paper so that when I screen the sections I can make sure they do not see it. Janet Giffen, Windsor, Ont.
