Stackhouse to coach Raptors 905: report

-

Jerry Stackhouse’s path to becoming an NBA head coach will apparently take him to Mississauga next. A report at Upside & Motor has said that Stackhouse will make the move from Dwane Casey’s assistant staff in Toronto to take the head coaching job with the Raptors’ D-League team, Raptors 905. While the Raptors haven’t confirmed it, Stackhouse retweeted the news Monday evening to his 30,000-plus followers. Stackhouse, 41, would fill the void left by Jesse Mermuys, who coached Raptors 905 in its inaugural season before accepting an assistant’s role under Luke Walton with the Lakers.
