Jeffrey Beall is an associate professor at the University of Colorado, Denver. A Sept. 29 article about two Canadian publishing houses for medical journals being bought up by an international publisher who is being sued misspelled his surname.

Dr. Mahavir Singh Rekhi, the St. Catharines, vet whose licence was suspended after he was caught abusing animals, can reduce his 10 month suspension to six months if he successfully completes a series of retraining sessions. A Sept. 19 editorial calling on the College of Veterinarians of Ontario to revoke his licence mistakenly said his suspension will be reduced to four months if he completes three half-day training sessions.
