Kids’ hockey games civilized in Wisconsin
Re Hockey parents — play nice, Editorial Sept. 26 I attended an early morning kids’ hockey game in Wisconsin. The parents drank hot chocolate, applauded all the kids and everybody enjoyed themselves.
I asked how they managed to organize such a civilized game. The answer: “If any parent gets out of line they, and their kids, are banned permanently from the arena.”
Perhaps Canada — the “Home of Hockey” — could learn something from our neighbour. Kitty Graham, Toronto
