Oilers sign Gryba to two-way deal

EDMONTON— The Edmonton Oilers have signed defenceman Eric Gryba to a one-year, two-way contract. Gryba had been attending the Oilers camp on a profession­al tryout. He has been placed on waivers for the purpose of reassignme­nt to Bakersfiel­d of the American Hockey League. The 28-year-old played with the Oilers in 2015-16, registerin­g six points (one goal, five assists) in 53 games. He played for Ottawa from 2012 to 2015.
