Donald Trump, Nov. 21 It is heartening to see the global community reaffirming in Marrakech, Morocco, its commitment to the Paris Agreement on climate change. Rather than being disheartened and demoralized by the words and actions of U.S. president-elect Donald Trump, nations, local governments, the private sector and individuals alike are rallying and getting on with the task at hand.
The movement to a renewable future and a low carbon economy has reached a critical mass that will not be stopped. Yes, the work has been made harder, but nobody said transformational change was easy.
And what a great opportunity for Canada to join the vanguard of global leaders in this fight.
