TOYOTA CENTER TIPOFF: Wednesday, 8 p.m. TV: TSN Radio: Sportsnet FAN 590

PROBABLE STARTERS

Toronto: Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, DeMarre Carroll, Pascal Siakam, Jonas Valanciunas.

Houston: Patrick Beverley, James Harden, Trevor Ariza, Ryan Anderson, Clint Capela.

KEY MATCHUP DeMar DeRozan, Raptors, vs. James

Harden, Rockets. The two Los Angeles buddies work out a lot with each other and steal from each other’s games. It’ll be a friendly matchup between players with very similar styles — and similar results. DeRozan was third in NBA scoring through Monday with 30.9 points per game; Harden was fourth with 28.6.

NEED TO KNOW Brampton native Tyler Ennis is in Houston as one of the backups to starting point guard Beverley but Harden serves as the team’s primary ballhandler a lot of time he is on the court. Ennis is averaging 3.3 points in 9.4 minutes per game . . . This is a homecoming of sorts for both Patrick

Patterson and Kyle Lowry, who both played with the Rockets earlier in their careers — Lowry from 2008-11 and Patterson from 2010-12 . . . The Raptors have given up 100 or more points to their opponents in each of their last eight games.

UP NEXT Friday at Milwaukee, 8 p.m. Doug Smith
