UN prosecutors want life term for Mladic
United Nations prosecutors on Wednesday demanded a life sentence for Gen. Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb military chief accused of orchestrating atrocities throughout Bosnia’s 1992-95 war.
Mladic faces 11 counts of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide linked to his command of troops accused of atrocities in Sarajevo and murdering thousands of Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica in 1995.
