Why not just save the entire building?

Re Dominion building is up for sale and holds ‘exceptiona­l potential,’ Jan. 18 The Dominion Public Building was once designated a heritage landmark building. Once it is sold, “there are many heritage features inside and on the exterior” that “will be protected.” Why not save the entire building? Are we that short-sighted, greedy and stupid?
