MONT-TREMBLANT, QUE.— There’s a new way to stay in Mont-Tremblant with Tremblant Living, a luxury rental company that boasts an impressive collection of 20 grandiose houses and lavish condos. Here, guests can enjoy all the amenities of a five-star hotel — premium toiletries, in-room spa services and daily housekeeping — in the privacy and comfort of a fully equipped rental property. Modern luxury Luxurious comfort is an understatement in these remarkable rental homes. High-vaulted ceilings expose wooden beams while floor-to-ceiling windows provide stunning forest or lake views. These are open-concept spaces designed for entertaining friends or hosting large family gatherings.

Living areas are tastefully furnished with plush sofas and gas fireplaces, dining rooms feature long harvest tables and an integrated lighting and sound system sets the perfect mood. The average nightly rental rates start at $1,200 for a home with more than four bedrooms. Chef’s kitchen Cooking becomes a joyous team sport in the professional, state-ofthe-art kitchens found in all rental houses. High-end appliances, including a 48-inch Wolf gas range and sleek De’Longhi espresso machine, are on display, while the fridge, freezer and microwave are cleverly hidden behind streamlined solid wood cabinetry. The extra-wide sinks with double faucets mean multiple people can help clean up after breakfast and prepare elaborate meals come dinnertime. Water world All of the properties feature a combination of indoor or outdoor hot tubs, saunas and private pools. The majestic Manor Chalet, a sprawling 10,400square-foot, nine-bedroom home that sleeps up to 22 guests — and the jewel in the crown of Tremblant Living rental properties — is nestled in a tranquil forest next to its own mountain stream and features a large indoor heated pool and hot tub.

Most of the outdoor facilities offer breathtaking views of Lake Tremblant or the charming resort. Fun house Your group of travelling family or friends won’t be bored with the entertainment options on hand.

Pool tables, giant flat-screen televisions and a selection of board games are found in many of the rental hous- es. The Grand Foret Villa, a 5,700square-foot home on two hectares of private forested land (and the favourite property of Joan Bou, the president of the company), has its own boardwalk, tree house, hiking trails and outdoor playground. Bath retreat Many of the beautiful ensuite bathrooms throughout several of the rental properties feature heated flooring, large soaker tubs and spacious steam showers.

Full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner, hand soap and body lotion are supplied by French beauty brand L’Occitane en Provence, alongside neat piles of fine linens and towels. Lather up in a jetted tub framed by a huge bay window and take in the peaceful scenery of the surrounding woods. Concierge services In addition to free Wi-Fi and VIP parking passes, you’ll find a binder full of information and phone num- bers to arrange a variety of services during your stay. Staff are happy to schedule private yoga classes and inroom massages.

For $60 per person, you can treat your group to a gourmet meal prepared right in your chalet by a local chef, featuring up to eight courses with wine pairings and table service. Daily housekeeping is also available for $35 per hour. Wildlife sightings Keep your eyes wide open while sipping your morning coffee by a window or while driving on the picturesque winding roads surrounding your chalet — there are plenty of deer and wild turkeys in the area.

The local wildlife is so abundant that we were able to hand-feed apples to three deer while dining in town one evening and returned from an afternoon of shopping to a flock of wild turkeys on our front lawn.
