Theatres to dim lights

Toronto’s four Mirvish Theatres — the Royal Alexandra, the Princess of Wales, the Ed Mirvish and the Panasonic — will dim their lights at 8 p.m. Wednesday in honour of writer and broadcaster Stuart McLean and actor Richard McMillan. McLean died Feb. 15 and McMillan died Feb. 19.

“We are saddened by their passing but very grateful for their work on and off the stage,” David Mirvish said. “They were taken from us too soon. We will miss them dearly.”
