Rookies in lead at Honda Classic

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLA.— Rookies Cody Gribble and Wesley Bryan shot 6-under 64 and shared the lead after the opening round of the PGA’s Honda Classic. On a perfect day for scoring, they were a one ahead of twotime major champion Martin Kaymer and Anirban Lahiri of India. Graham DeLaet of Weyburn, Sask., and Rickie Fowler were in a large group at 66. More than half the field was at par or better. Mackenzie Hughes of Dundas, Ont., and David Hearn of Brantford, Ont., were at 1-under 69.
