Re Politician­s should know the costs of raising children, report says

If you can’t afford to have a child . . . then don’t have one. I don’t remember all this hoofala about the government (i.e. the taxpayers) being responsibl­e for child care prior to this current generation of parents. We already pay for their education and the ridiculous amount of something like $500 per month per child for child tax benefit. What next? Carol McGregor, Toronto
