Warm weather nearly breaks record
The GTA didn’t break a temperature record Monday, but it certainly came close.
On April 10, 1955, Toronto boasted a high of 23.3 C, which has remained the city’s record for the date. On Monday, Environment Canada confirms the temperature reached 23.2 C, just shy of the record.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will see temperatures between 10 and 15 C, with partly cloudy skies and chilly evenings.
Saturday and Sunday are expected to be rainy, with highs in the midteens, before clearing up — and getting cooler — on Easter Monday with a high of 8 C.
