An April 11article about the gender wage gap in Ontario mistakenly said that, on average, women in Ontario are paid 30 per cent less for doing the same job as men.

In fact, the 30 per cent figure cited in the study refers to the gender wage gap in Ontario, based on average annual earnings of all working men and women.

An April 12 article about Canada’s immigration detention system mistakenly said Toronto lawyer Jared Will has taken the case of two men to federal court to challenge Canada’s immigration detention system.

In fact, Will is representing only one of the men, former immigration detainee Alvin Brown, in his court challenge.

Provincial NDP deputy leader Jagmeet Singh’s motion proposes stronger protections for temp agency workers.
