Johnson due back for Wells Fargo

WILMINGTON, N.C.— Dustin Johnson’s injured back must be feeling better. The world’s No. 1 player, who pulled out of the Masters at the last minute after a fall down stairs at his rental home in Augusta, said he’ll return to the PGA Tour at the Wells Fargo Championsh­ips starting May 4. Before his accident, Johnson was among the favourites for last week’s major after winning three straight tournament­s. Johnson said then he had planned to take three weeks off after Augusta.
