Lynch, Raiders in talking mode

Marshawn Lynch, on the reserve/ retired list since last spring, has reportedly received permission from the Seattle Seahawks — who still hold his rights — to talk contract with the Oakland Raiders. Lynch is under contract at $9 million for the 2017 season. No team wants to take on that much salary for the 31-year-old Lynch, who would need to work out a restructured contract before the Seahawks — overloaded at running back — could trade him.
