Rondo ‘long shot’ for Bulls’ test

-

CHICAGO— If the Chicago Bulls manage to extend their post-season, they almost certainly will have to do it without Rajon Rondo. The point guard, recovering from a broken right thumb, is considered a “long shot” to play in Game 6 against the Boston Celtics on Friday night according to coach Fred Hoiberg, and Game 7 if it’s necessary. Hoiberg said guard Isaiah Canaan would start in Rondo’s place for a second straight game. The Celtics lead the firstround series 3-2.
