Raonic survives scare in return
ISTANBUL— Canadian Milos Raonic held on to beat unheralded Aljaz Bedene 6-7 (5), 6-3, 7-6 (3) in secondround action at the Istanbul Open. Raonic, the top seed, was playing his first match in nearly six weeks because of a hamstring injury. Bedene, ranked 58th in the world, made Raonic, ranked sixth, work for two hours and 36 minutes. Raonic will play Bernard Tomic in the quarterfinals on Friday. The Canadian has never lost to Tomic in four meetings.
