Doors Open Toronto were closed to many
We are disgusted by our wasted day at Doors Open Toronto, an event we’ve enjoyed in previous years. We were out for five hours but could not get inside any of the four sites we had chosen to visit. Two-hour lineups are not acceptable to seniors.
We were particularly upset with the Humber Historic Tunnels tour for promising us admission, then refusing to include us after a 21⁄ 2- hour wait.
Suggestions: Offer pre-ticketing online and honour commitments made. My friends travelled from Windsor, Ont., for this embarrassment to our city’s tourist scene. Anne Jones, Etobicoke
