NEED TO KNOW
Cincinnati and Toronto have not met since June 2014, when the Reds took two of three games. Toronto leads the all-time series between the teams 9-6 . . . The Reds are 13-12 in the month of May; the Jays, 15-10 . . . Should lefty J.A. Happ, who returned to the Jays clubhouse on Sunday, return to the mound on Tuesday, it would be his first outing since being pulled from a loss to Baltimore on April 16 with elbow inflammation.
ON DECK
Thursday to Sunday: four games vs. New York Yankees. Laura Armstrong
The refrain goes like this: I want to talk about me Want to talk about I Want to talk about number one Oh my me my Wry guy, Joe.
