Alouettes cut all-star linebacker Woods

MONTREAL— The Alouettes released all-star linebacker Bear Woods on Monday. The 30-year-old was the East Division’s defensive player of the year for the second time last season, with 126 defensive tackles and five sacks in 18 games.
