Mur­phy sparks homer bar­rage

CINCIN­NATI— Daniel Mur­phy hit two of Wash­ing­ton’s five home runs and racked up five RBIs in the Na­tion­als’ 14-4 win over the Cincin­nati Reds on Sun­day. Ex-Jay Adam Lind and Jose Lo­ba­ton added two-run shots and An­thony Ren­don had a solo homer, his third blast in two games. The Na­tion­als have hit 10 home runs in the se­ries, the sixth time since mov­ing from Mon­treal in 2005 that they’ve hit at least that many in a four-game se­ries.
