- RICHARD GRIFFIN

Two years later, how much did the Jays really give up at the 2015 deadline? SS Jose Reyes, RHPs Miguel Castro, Jeff Hoffman and Jesus Tinoco to the Colorado Rockies for SS Troy Tulowitzki and RHP LaTroy Hawkins JOSE REYES Now with New York Mets

MLB stats since the trade: 787 AB, .251 BA, 20 HR, 81 RBI, 30 SB The 34-year-old Dominican star was struggling defensively at the time. He was charged with domestic violence in the 2015-16 off-season, suspended by Major League Baseball and later released by the Rockies. Spent the last two seasons with the Mets. MIGUEL CASTRO Now with Baltimore Orioles Since the trade: 2-2, no saves, 4.95 ERA, 462⁄ IP 3 The 22-year-old Dominican became the surprise Jays closer in April 2015, earning four saves before losing the job because of inexperience. The Rockies liked his power arm. Was traded to the O’s at the start of this season. JEFF HOFFMAN Now with Colorado Rockies

Since the trade: 6-7, 5.36 ERA, 21 G (18 starts), 1002⁄ IP 3 The 24-year-old from upstate New York was the centrepiece of the Tulowitzki trade in the eyes of the Rockies. He had Tommy John surgery right after the 2014 draft and missed a year of development. He’s in the Rockies’ rotation now. JESUS TINOCO Now with Class-A Lancaster, California League

This season: 7-4, 5.16 ERA, 17 starts The 22-year-old Venezuelan impressed the Rockies with a 92- to 95-m.p.h. two-seamer that is complemented by a developing slider. He is in his third year of full-season minor-league ball and still a work in progress. LHPs Daniel Norris, Matt Boyd and Jairo Labourt to the Detroit Tigers for LHP David Price DANIEL NORRIS Now with Detroit Tigers

Since the trade: 10-10, 4.29 ERA, 38 G (37 starts), 191 IP The 24-year-old Tennessee native became a cult figure at spring training in 2015, living out of his van and surfing his way to Florida. He was in the Jays’ rotation that year, then sent to Triple-A Buffalo for seasoning. He was thrust into the Tigers’ rotation post-trade but has yet to establish himself. MATT BOYD Now with Detroit Tigers

Since the trade: 11-14, 5.31 ERA, 44 G (41 starts), 2151⁄ IP 3 The 26-year-old native of Bellevue, Wash., had a brief major-league audition with the Jays in 2015, but was 0-2 with a 14.85 ERA. He has spent parts of the last three seasons with the Tigers, called up again in July to replace an injured Norris. JAIRO LABOURT Now with Triple-A Toledo, International League

This season: 0-0, 2.84, 5 G The 23-year-old Dominican has a power left arm, but has had command problems with his slider and changeup, suggesting that if he makes it to the majors it will be as a reliever. He’s in his seventh minorleague season. LHPs Jake Brentz, Nick Wells and Rob Rasmussen to the Seattle Mariners for RHP Mark Lowe NICK WELLS Now with Class-A Clinton, Midwest League This season: 3 4-7, 6.50 ERA, 17 starts, 812⁄ IP The 21-year-old Virginia native was drafted out of high school by the Jays and is still on the M’s radar as a prospect. Wells has a repertoire of soft pitches with a fastball around 90 m.p.h. He is projected as a fourth or fifth starter. ROB RASMUSSEN Retired in March 2016 After the trade: 2-1, 10.67 ERA, 19 G, 141⁄ IP 3 The 28-year-old native of Pasadena, Calif., was an up-and-down minorleague contributor at the time of the trade. The lefty was released by the M’s after the 2015 season, signed by the Angels for 2016 and decided to retire at spring training to go back to school. JAKE BRENTZ Now with Double-A Altoona, Eastern League

This season: 0-1, 10.80 ERA, 62⁄ IP 3 The 22-year-old native of Missouri, who has seen some Triple-A action, was a position player before converting to the mound and hitting 96 m.p.h. on the radar gun just prior to being drafted by the Jays. Because of the late conversion he is still a project for the M’s and projects as a reliever. RHPs Alberto Tirado and Jimmy Cordero to the Philadelphia Phillies for OF Ben Revere ALBERTO TIRADO Now with Double-A Reading, Eastern League

This season: 0-0, 4.50, 8 G, 10 IP The 22-year-old Dominican has the highest ceiling of any of the young pitchers traded by the Jays at the 2015 deadline. He throws mostly in the mid-90s, but has reached triple digits, and has a hard slider. Projects as a major-league starter. JIMMY CORDERO Now with Double-A Harrisburg, Eastern League

This season: 2-4, 5.98, 32 G, 402⁄ IP 3 The 25-year-old Dominican, who has seen time at Triple-A, has a big arm — topping out at 102 m.p.h. — but has scattered command and is now in the Nationals’ organization. He’s in his fifth season in the minors and can only throw strikes with the fastball.
