- Bryan Tuckey

If you’re looking for advice or inspiration for your next home project, be sure to visit the Toronto Fall Home Show.

It runs Friday, Sept. 15 to Sunday, Sept. 17 at the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place.

With more than 300 exhibitors, celebrity experts and service professionals, the show offers something for everyone.

From design help, to advice from renovators, or an opportunity to try out the latest products, the Toronto Fall Home Show has lots to help you get started on shaping or revitalizing your space.

Find out how you can maximize your storage space with creative storage solutions at the new feature: Storage & Organization Solutions. Done in partnership with Panasonic, the exhibit will offer visitors the chance to view creative storage solutions to problems that affect every homeowner.

The popular feature, Design In- tervention, is back for another year. Presented by Reno & Décor magazine, the exhibit has a team of interior designers and decorators offering homeowners free one-on-one consultations, advice and expert tips. Whether you’re facing a design dilemma or just looking for some fresh ideas for your home, this is a great place to learn more about how to make your space truly yours.

Upcycle Challenge, with celebrity style, decor and DIY experts upcycling a piece of furniture from the Habitat for Humanity GTA ReStores, is retuning for the sixth year. Each of the upcycled projects will match a current fashion trend and will be on display and available for purchase with proceeds going to support for Habitat for Humanity GTA.

Be sure to take advantage of the great seminars throughout the show on the Casalife Main Stage. Each day celebrity experts offer great tips and ideas. Topics run the gamut from clever ways to maximize small spaces, to how to create beautiful bathrooms, to the biggest landscaping mistakes and how to correct them.

Don’t miss the “Five Steps to a Successful Renovation” seminar, at noon on both Saturday and Sunday, with professional RenoMark renovators discussing the five-step guide to updating a home or condo.

Be sure to check out RenoMark’s Destination Renovation, BILD’s feature exhibit at the show, where you can meet with professional RenoMark renovators and receive free unsolicited advice and renovating tips. Visitors are encouraged to bring photos, blueprints and sketches to make the most of their consultations.

A home show staple for several decades, RenoMark’s Destination Renovation is a great way to learn about the steps to a successful renovation, including obtaining the necessary building permits, working with a reputable renovator and making the most of your budget. It is also a great place to learn about RenoMark, the national program that helps homeowners identify and find professional renovators, trade contractors and custom homebuilders in their area.

BILD is proud to bring you the Toronto Fall Home Show. Our members are in the business of building and renovating homes and this show is the perfect place for homeowners to meet BILD and RenoMark members while learning about new products, services and trends.
