Deer stand collapse hurts Royals’ Yost
KANSAS CITY, MO.— Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost broke his pelvis and several ribs during a fall on his property in Georgia, and had surgery Thursday. The team says the 62year-old manager was working on a deer stand that gave way last weekend. He was to be transferred to a rehab facility by Friday. Yost — an avid hunter and outdoorsman — has managed the Royals since 2010 and led them to the 2015 World Series championship, the team’s first since 1985.
