Snapped and shared
Torontonians by the thousands showed their love for the city this past summer by entering the third annual Parks, Forestry and Recreation Snap and Share photo contest, presented by Nikon Canada. Photographer Diana Lee titled her Grand Prize winning photo (above) Happy Canada Day, Toronto! “Travelling by water was an important means of transport for exploration and trade in the past,” said Lee. “Today, we enjoy Lake Ontario through different activities, and stand-up paddleboarding is my favourite way to experience this beautiful body of water. I can only imagine what the Toronto skyline may have looked like 150-plus years ago.”
