Silverdome not going away that easy

-

PONTIAC, MICH.— A partial implosion of the Silverdome failed to bring down the upper section of the Detroit Lions’ former home. Demolition company Adamo said the blasts weakened the Silverdome but 10 per cent of the explosive charges failed to detonate due to wiring issues. If the building doesn’t fall on its own, excavators will start taking down the structure this week. The stadium is the former home of the Lions, Pistons and the 1982 Super Bowl.
