Timberlake starts tour in Toronto

Justin Timberlake will kick off his North American tour here in Toronto in March, a little more than a month after his Man of the Woods album is released on Feb. 2.

Timberlake plays the Air Canada Centre on Tuesday, March 13; fanclub and American Express members get access to tickets this Wednesday and others on Jan.16. No word on prices or availabili­ty to nonmembers.

Other concerts announced Monday:

Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper perform at the Budweiser Stage on Aug. 10. Tickets ($45-$200) on sale Jan. 12 via livenation.com or Ticketmast­er.

Steely Dan— now without the late Walter Becker — and the Doobie Brothers also hit the Budweiser Stage, on July 2, for a double-bill of yacht-rock institutio­ns. Tickets available Jan. 12 from Ticketmast­er or livenation.com; no prices available.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, a pillar of roots music, plays Massey Hall on May 12 with special guest JJ Shiplett. Tickets will be $40 to $65 when they go on sale Jan. 12 through Ticketmast­er and livenation.com. Star staff
