Suspect arrested on drug warrant

Provincial police say it took more than a decade, but a man wanted on drug charges is finally in custody.

Police say the Canada Border Services Agency at Toronto’s Pearson Airport notified them on Tuesday night that they had a man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant from Sept. 13, 2006, in custody.

OPP say the 66-year-old Hamilton man had been charged with production of marijuana, production of cannabis resin and possession more than three kilograms of marijuana for the purpose trafficking.
