Thanks to everyone who helped senior after nasty fall at Bayview Centre

-

On Jan. 10 at about 6 p.m., I and several subway riders got off at the Bayvew station, dutifully waited for the walk light and crossed onto the sidewalk leading into Bayview Village Shopping Centre.

Suddenly my feet flew out from under me and I landed hard on the ice. Immediately, two young men and one young woman were there and lifted me to my feet. The young woman took charge and helped me find a step to sit on while the shock wore off.

She stayed with me until I was ready to rise, took my arm and slowly guided me into the Centre.

In my discomfort, I forgot to get her name and contact information so I could thank her properly. So, to the rescuers of this “old” lady, my undying thanks. I am sporting a cast on my left elbow, but without you, it would have been worse. Carol Libman, Toronto
