A Jan. 16 article about an 11-yearold girl thrust into the spotlight last week after alleging a man cut her hijab incorrectly said Mark Pugash, Toronto Police director of communications, told the Star that a prelimi- nary investigation had been completed by the time a police spokesperson arrived at the girl’s school for a press conference. In fact, Pugash told the Star that the press conference, not the preliminary investigation, had been completed by the time the police spokesperson arrived at the school.
Conventional ovens need more time baking and higher temperatures than convection ovens and the general rule is to increase the temperature by 20 C when converting from convection to conventional. A Jan. 15 article about errors in the cookbook Sweet mistakenly said to reduce the temperature by 20 C.
