Yankees’ move Boone to A-Rod’s career

BRISTOL, CONN.— Alex Rodriguez will join ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball crew as an analyst, and continue to work for Fox Sports in the post-season. Rodriguez fills the ESPN spot held last season by Aaron Boone, hired last month to manage the New York Yankees. After the 2003 season, Boone, the Yankees’ third baseman at the time, tore up his knee, leading to the acquisition of eventual threetime American League MVP Rodriguez in a blockbuster trade with the Texas Rangers.
