Our female Olympians are women, not girls

Re Time has come to put an end to ladies’ night,

Feschuk, Feb. 21 In Dave Feschuk’s column, he wonders about the correct term for female athletes in the Olympics.

I agree it should be “women” across the board.

But, more importantly, can someone tell the commentators on the CBC that they are definitely not “girls!” Heather McNie, Sydenham, Ont.
