Minaj, Future to co-headline at ACC

Nicki Minaj and Future will co-headline the Air Canada Centre on Oct. 1, by which time each hot rapper will have a new album out.

The tour will come after the release of Minaj’s album Queen on Aug. 10 and the arrival of the soundtrack to the upcoming Superfly remake (directed by Toronto’s own Director X); that soundtrack was executive produced by Future and features him on most tracks. Tickets go on sale June 15 to the public via Livenation.com and Ticketmast­er.ca after pre-sales; they’ll cost $58 to $184.

Other concerts announced Monday (all tickets from Live Nation and Ticketmast­er as of June 15, except where stated):

Texan roots rocker Shakey Graves and Saskatchew­an’s Sheepdogs co-headline a Sept. 20 show at Echo Beach; $50.

Swedish heavy-metal band Ghostplays the Sony Centre on Dec. 8; tickets cost $45-$80.

Hozier, the Irish singer known for “Take Me to Church,” hits Rebel on Sept. 19 for an all-ages show. $50-$60.

Popular YouTubers Rhett & Link, creators of the series Rhett & Link’s Buddy System, do a live performanc­e for an allages crowd on Nov. 8 at the Sony Centre; $30-$75.

Irish indie-folk foursome Kodaline play the Phoenix on Nov. 30. Tickets $45-$70; all ages welcome.

Artists coming to Casino Rama: comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias ($60-$85) on Sept. 7, Roger Hodgson with Orchestra ($60-$85) on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 and comedian Bill Engvall ($45-$65) on Nov. 16. Tickets from ticketmast­er.ca, 1-877-599-RAMA or casinorama.com as of June 14.
