Trump a better leader by far than Trudeau
Re How long will Trump’s stain on America last? Sears, Oct. 13
I was very disappointed by parts of Robin Sears’ article about Donald Trump. I realize it was in the “Opinions” section of the newspaper, and people are entitled to their opinions. That being said, it was a one-sided article with exaggerations.
I have watched the U.S. decline over the past 10 years and feel that Trump’s “Make America Great Again” is long overdue. He also says “put America first” and “hire American, buy American” and has many excellent policies. The article did not mention his appropriate mentality or his excellent policies. I have lived in Canada my entire
life and feel Trump is a way better leader than Justin Trudeau; I would gladly vote for Trump over Trudeau.
The article also exaggerated. It implied that having Trump for a second term would be horrific.
If Donald Trump is so bad, what is Bashar Assad, who gasses innocent children to death? Or Vladimir Putin, who has people who criticize him murdered? Both Putin and Assad are leaders of nations; is Donald Trump worse than them?
I feel the capitalist mentality of Trump is terrific, and the allegations of his “poisonous legacy” make me disappointed in the Star.
