ENGINES: Infiniti says its 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine is the most fuel efficient it’s ever offered. The VR30 DDTT V6 is available with either 400 or 300 horsepower. A four-cylinder turbocharged 2.0-litre gasoline engine is also available. It says the three engines offer instant power delivery, smooth responses to driver inputs, high performance output and mechanical efficiency. TRANSMISSION: The company says all its 2018 Q60 powertrains are matched to an advanced seven-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with manual shift mode and available steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters on Sport and Red Sport 400 models.
FUEL ECONOMY: L/100 kms — 12.5 city; 9.2 highway; 11 combined.
WHEELS: The Q60 features standard 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The Red Sport 400 model features 20-inch wheels.
COLOURS: There are nine exterior colours — Midnight Black, Platinum Ice, Asgard Grey, Black Obsidian, Dynamic Sunstone Red, Majestic White, Pure White, Electric Indigo and new Solar Mica.
MODELS: There are five — 2.0t Pure, 2.0t Luxe, 3.0t Luxe, 3.0t Sport and 3.0t Red Sport 400 (each with standard all-wheel drive), along with a number of equipment packages, some quite elaborate.
