Lars De Pauw, executive director of the Orphan Well Association—an industry-funded group that assumes responsibility for the inactive wells of bankrupt-companies—said the association’s work is getting done this year at a cost that was 30 per cent below the public estimates made by the regulator. A Nov.1 article about Alberta’s oilpatch incorrectly re- ferred to De Pauw as stating that the association’s work is getting done this year at a cost that was 70 per cent below the estimates made by the regulator.

According to the 2016 census, the population of Burnaby South is about 112,000. A Nov. 1 editorial about NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh misstated the population of Burnaby South.
