Cuts to social assistance put people out in the cold

Re Danger signs everywhere, Editorial, Nov. 4 Premier Doug Ford’s political party has fully earned the right to a new title.

With apprehended cuts to social assistance, deferral for a decade of any increase in the minimum wage for workers, cutbacks in worker protection, assistance and equity, refusal to investigate employee allegations of illegal corporate actions, and cancellation of every government effort to curb global warming, our ruling political party should be named for what it actually is.
