Panama tops Canada at U-20s
Saed Diaz scored the tiebreaking goal, his second of the game, in the 59th minute and Panama topped Canada 2-1 in group play at the CONCACAF men’s under-20 championships. The winning goal came four minutes after Canada had tied it on a shot by Noble Okello. It was Canada’s first loss in three games at the regional qualifier for next year’s U-20 World Cup. Canada plays St. Kitts & Nevis on Thursday.
