Chiefs cut Hunt over assault video

The Chiefs released running back Kareem Hunt after he was placed on the NFL’s commissioner exempt list, barring him from playing or practising while the league investigates a TMZ video of Hunt striking a woman in February. Police were called to the scene, but no charges were filed for the Feb. 10 incident. The video shows Hunt knocking over and kicking the woman in a Cleveland hallway.
