Nats land Gomes, Narvaez to M’s

The Indians traded all-star catcher Yan Gomes to the Washington Nationals for outfielder Daniel Johnson and right-hander Jefry Rodriguez. Gomes, acquired from the Blue Jays in 2012, hit .266 with 16 homers and 26 doubles in 112 games this past season. Earlier, the Chicago White Sox traded catcher Omar Narvaez to the Seattle Mariners for reliever Alex Colome.
